SWAN AND MEMORIAL COURT

In January 2025 we were instructed by Fife Council to carry out the installation of a specialist Helifix RetroTie wall restraint system to high-rise residential flats to improve the long-term stability and safety of the external walls. Working across occupied buildings, specialist fixing systems were installed within the wall structure to strengthen connections between masonry elements and help prevent movement over time. Due to the height and occupied nature of the buildings, the works required careful planning, safe access arrangements, and close coordination to minimise disruption to residents. Once installed, all repair areas were finished to blend with the existing building façade, ensuring minimal visual impact. The completed works provided a durable, long-term solution to improve the structural performance and resilience of the high-rise flats while maintaining the appearance of the buildings.
